Antti Suominen's entry was one of more than 15,000 received from 145 countries for the Ultimate Away Goal competition.
Suominen will receive two tickets to fly to South Australia and see Liverpool FC play, as well as five nights accommodation and trips to Kangaroo Island and the Barossa.
“I entered the competition because it was a great prize, I have never been to Adelaide and I am looking forward to seeing the sights in South Australia and of course the opportunity to see Liverpool FC play live,” Suominen said.
“I will bring my wife with me and we can enjoy some of the wonderful wine you have.”
The exhibition match is expected to attract more than 10,000 people from interstate and overseas.
“The Ultimate Away Goal competition created incredible interest in South Australia from all over the world,” Minister for Tourism Leon Bignell said.
“We had 15,084 entries which proves hosting international sporting events is a fantastic way of showcasing our state to a global audience. I am sure Antti will be blown away by what South Australia has to offer.”
“These visitors will inject over $5 million into our economy as they spend time in our hotels, restaurants and visit other attractions in South Australia,” Mr Bignell said.
Liverpool FC is one of the world’s most historic and famous football clubs having won 18 League Titles, seven FA Cups, eight League Cups, five European Cups, three UEFA Cups, three European Super Cups and 15 Charity Shields.
