Adelaide Resources Limited reports large copper deposit at Tomahawk site

Adelaide Resources Limited has reported a large, high magnitude copper geochemical anomaly called Tomahawk about five kilometres east of their Alford West Prospect.

The Tomahawk site, defined by Adelaide Resources' Field Portable X-Ray Fluorescence soil geochemistry technology, is comparable in size to the Alford project, and the concentration of copper matches or exceeds the highest levels found there.

Other independent tests, as well as historical drilling in the area, support and corroborate the X-Ray Fluorescence results.

Managing Director of Adelaide Resources Limited, Chris Drown, said that the results of their tests justify expanded operations in the area.

“Taking into account all available exploration data, we assess Tomahawk to be a high quality target worthy of exploratory drilling,” Drown said.

As well as copper, the Tomahawk site contains bismuth, lead, nickel, selenium, yttrium and zinc.
