The T-POS Terminal was introduced to specific retailers in September last year but has been reworked to increase its functionality for small and medium-sized fuel retailers.

Based in Adelaide, South Australia, TT Fuel has designed and manufactured fuel storage and operation systems for the global market for more than 30 years.

Their original systems were designed for harsh environments and are used by the Australian Defence Force and have been distributed across multiple countries in Africa and Central America, as well as in Papa New Guinea, Hong Kong and Indonesia.

TT Fuel CEO Liam Cahill said the latest modifications would take the systems out of the world’s deserts and jungles and into the suburbs.

“The TT Fuel T-POS Terminal is a pump control and forecourt management device with an integrated POS all in one system from one supplier,” Cahill said.

“T-POS will allow businesses to manage all of their sales on one screen, supported by fast, reliable and intuitive software with an interface purpose-built for retail service stations.

“It will also allow operators to monitor wet-stock and dry-stock levels in real-time with data rich reporting to make meaningful business decisions.”

The updated T-POS Terminal is a touch screen operation system that can directly control forecourt equipment to regulate fuel dispensers, electronic price signs and automatic tank gauging systems.

Cahill said this interface is easy to configure and customise to fit different business needs.

“Security settings can be easily matched to staff roles and responsibilities,” Cahill said.

“T-POS will automatically synchronise with fuel dispensers and electronic price signs allowing wet stock product price changes to be managed from one place.

“Our flexible solution architecture (also) allows us to help customers manage change in their business and industry.”

The company has grown into a global technology company since being bought by venture entrepreneurs in 1989 from a South Australian university spinoff.

Last year TT Fuel consolidated all its operations into a global HQ based in Torrensville, an inner suburb of Adelaide, South Australia.

The headquarters includes engineering, manufacturing, software development and a 24-hour global support desk.

“We strive for durability, simplicity and exceptional performance when designing our products and solutions, which is something that we believe is self-evident in the design of T-POS,” Cahill said.
