The festival had already raised $18,500 on the crowdfunding platform Pozible. Campaign backers received printed programs, discounted tickets, food hampers and special access to meals and events.

The campaign was organised by Festival Director Amanda James Pritchard, who created the event last year.

“MVBeer's support allows us to invest back into ensuring the success of the festival, which will then benefit the many food and wine producers involved,” Amanda said.

“This whole festival is an exercise in collaboration and I am thrilled to have MVBeer on board.”

Josh Stuart, MVBeer General Manager of Sales and Marketing, believes that craft beer and ciders are a natural fit for the grassroots festival.

“It's fantastic to be associated with all these great South Australian producers who share our passion for the local food, beverage and hospitality industries.”

As part of their partnership, MVBeer's range of beverages, including the popular VALE/ALE, will be served at festival events such as Market Feast and Town Picnic.
