A NEW cluster aimed at developing local and global opportunities for South Australia’s music, technology and creative industries will be opened during Sounds x South Australia, a two-week series of industry events.

The Premier of South Australia, Jay Weatherill, will formally open Musitec at the event on Saturday, September 13 at St Paul's Creative Centre in Adelaide.
Special guests will include Martin Elbourne, Live Music Thinker in Residence, organiser for Glastonbury Festival and co-founder of The Great Escape, Avery McTaggart of The Windish Agency, Adam Ryan of The Great Escape and Stu MacQueen from Wonderlick Entertainment.
Sounds x South Australia will open with a panel discussion on the state of live music, followed by a showcase of the 2014 Robert Stigwood Artist Fellows at the Jade Monkey.
Martin Elbourne followed his Live Music Thinker in Residence appointment in South Australia with the 'Reverb' report, a set of recommendations to the South Australian Government and industry on improving the music industry.
