The Brickman Awesome exhibition opens tomorrow at the Adelaide Convention Centre where it will be on show until January 27. The exhibition features native animals such as a crocodile, kangaroo, emperor penguins and a scary redback spider as well as a Harley Davidson motorcycle, a Caterpillar dump truck and a full-scale LEGO replica of the latest Toyota Camry sedan.

Models of the Eiffel Tower, Doctor Who’s TARDIS and the DeLorean from Back to the Future will also be on display along with the tallest LEGO model in the Southern Hemisphere – a NASA SLS rocket, standing at 7.5m and built from more than 450,000 bricks.

The Melbourne-based Brickman team is led by Ryan “The Brickman” McNaught, one of only 14 LEGO Certified Professionals in the world.

But the exhibition is not for just looking at – there are several areas alongside the inspiring models and two million spare bricks for LEGO lovers young and old to use to create their own models using a total of two million bricks.
