Launched just over a year ago, the series has collectively reached 1.1 million views. That’s the equivalent of watching the YouTube videos back to back for 3 years and 297 days – or watching the film Titanic 11,000 times (not that we’d recommend that).

The project has released 28 short films involving more than 70 South Australian filmmakers, producers and musicians, focusing on local personalities, places and businesses.

Through Local Eyes is funded through the South Australian Tourism Commission, putting the destination brand in the hands of local filmmakers to tell real, compelling stories about their experience in the state.
